I first noticed grey hair when I was 8 years old. Since then, I've always had 5-6 hairs which are black (my natural colour) at the roots but white at the tips and the rest of the length. Even if I remove them, a hair of same type comes up in its place. Why is this happening and how can I stop it? I don't want to colour my hair.I am 16 years old and I have grey hair at the tips but black at roots. Why is this happening?
your situation to me seems to me like a biological, i won't say problem because it's not really a ';problem'; or ';disorder';; let's just say issue. anyways, my cousin has the same ';issue'; and he doesn't really do anything about it...for him...it goes away after a month or so by itself and comes back...in my uncle's family, his elder sisters and bros. have it too...so, i'm thinking it's the same thing with you. also, my friend has it and hers is like an entire stripe of her hair is grey...and more is turning grey, but again, her dad has it too...so...
i don't know abt. u but gujarati women apply mehndi (typical heena mehndi with a little water) to their hair instead of coloring it..it works well for my elder (40-50 age) family members...so u may want to try that...good luck:]]]I am 16 years old and I have grey hair at the tips but black at roots. Um..is it like, noticeable grey, or just barely grey?
I have met a couple people who have a ';lightning strike'; which is a random patch of grey hair that they have pretty much always had.
Black hair can also give that appearance because of the shine. Or, ';so black that it's appearing to have a tint of grey or white'; if that makes any sense to you.
I also had a friend in HS who had an aging disorder.
Could just be a fluke in your genes, could be a sign of a health issue. Dont freak out, but I think you should see a doctor when you can, just to be sure.
