Can someone explain why it is that my grey hair looks yellow in comparison?

to my hubby who hair looks silver grey. Could it be that I still have some colour pigmentation in my hair?

Please No blue rinse suggestions! lolCan someone explain why it is that my grey hair looks yellow in comparison?
ok i agree with victoria partly on this one.

do u spend time in a smoky enviroment, the nicotine will produce a ';yellowing'; effect on the hair. or even cooking oil if u fry alot!!!

weather this is the case or not i recommend a ';purple'; shampoo, usually used on blonde high lights to refresh then and heling to get rid of the unwanted ';yellowness'; in the hair.

it WILL NOT color your hair,

u can prob get a one in the shops but i recommend

go to sallys website (hairdressing wholesaler which sell to non trade) or even the store if u have 1 near.

get clynol ';reflex'; silver shampoo. its a perfect cleanser for gray, lighlighted or bleached hair, cool color pigments neautralize yellow tones.

if not get a produce by INDOLA (it is a color mousse), get it in silver - this also with help get rid of yellow tones. WITHOUT coloring your hair

good luck hope this helpsCan someone explain why it is that my grey hair looks yellow in comparison?
Yes I reckon that's pigmentation. I assume you don't smoke...?

In all honesty though, I have bleached hair and I counteract that 'yellow' effect by mixing a tiny amount of lavender coloured Directions hair dye (harmless temporary gunk you can buy for 拢3-4 in alternative clothing shops and online) with conditioner, and leaving it on my hair for ten mins before I shower.

I promise you, not a hint of colour, just magically looks less yellow!!
Well, it definately tells me that hair is not healthy, you need to get your scalp treated. A good hydration is what need and mind you it has to be 100% natural with no chemicals involved because chemicals penetrate the scalp and the kindneys are not able to flush them out so invariably damage goes on for years and a unhealthy body is reflected through skin and hair.

Try a lotion called Ziravie, plus check their website which gives a list of fruits and vegetables which is good and helps to strengthen the hair roots internally.

The website is www.ziravie.com
yes your hair has pigment yet , just die it white
