Does salon dyed grey hair last longer than a home colouring kit?

95% grey and considering either low lights or beige blonde.





My concern is that a colour would not last over 95% of grey hair and lose it's holding colour very quickly (less than six weeks). I wondered which was the longer lasting salon or a home colouring kit?





My own hairdresser is on holiday at present hence my question to you lovely hairdressers out there.Does salon dyed grey hair last longer than a home colouring kit?

go to a salon. salons have all the same colors for regular hair has they do grey. so you will have a big selection on colors and it will cover your grey. dont use an at home kit they ruin your hair and will not last. spend the little extra and get it done right. it will look nice. as for highlights they dont cover up the grey they just kind of blend it it. color would be a better solution to covering the Grey. good luck.
My hair stylist always recommends keeping it natural.
