How can I naturally cover grey hair and restore its brown color?

I was thinking I would try some dark tea rinses, but wanted to know what else is out there. Has anyone tried tea, sage/rosemary or other natural products with good hair coloring results? My hair is medium brown naturally, and I would like to get my hair back to normal without the harsh chemicals and unpredictable box results. Thanks! How can I naturally cover grey hair and restore its brown color?
To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo. dust brown eyeshadow over grays. but actually, it works only for roots I guess. unfortunately, there are no other options to get natural color except coloring. go to salon, good salon I mean - drugstore color is damaging and look not good
