How can I restore my original grey hair?

My natural hair color is grey which I dyed black. I have just stripped my permanent hair color using a prelightening cream but the resulting color turned out to be some sort of mahogany. I want my grey hair back. What should I do? Please help! How can I restore my original grey hair?
Honestly, cut the colored part off and start over. Gray hair is VERY stubborn. Stubborn to color and stubborn to strip of color...

You're gonna have to start over. How can I restore my original grey hair?
go to hair salon and ask them to apply a high quality grey dye for ur hair..
if you bleach it out by a professional you'l be pleasantly suprised...as the bleached hair grows out you can pick a color to match your regrowth. or maybe switch over to a reverse frost. as that grows you gradually can bypass the reverse frost as you natural color will fade in. you can stop paying so much for frosting after that and you'll have to go short and cut cut cut, have your beautician do a soap cap, apply bleach to all your hair but only leave it on for five to six minutes. if that's too expensive buy your own lightest Garnier blonde color and try to strip it yourself.don't forget, orange is the color you pass thru on your way to blonde. I know buzz my hair with a number 8 attachment, let it grow out and the best place for this is the barbar shop, so many hair dressers don't want to do this, they know your smartening up, hair doesn't have to be expensive...have fun
Go to the hair salon and seek advice.
Go to a beauty pallor.
If you are a guy-just get cut off. Unless you have long hair, then you really have to go to a salon. they will bleach the sheeite out of your hair and actually dye your hair the shade of gray you desire. Yes, there is actually gray dye!
