Now my hair is greyat the sides along by my ears it always appear to look and feel very fluffy and frizz up when washed and blow dried. Any ideas to prevent this from happening please? How do you curb the frizz associated with grey hair?
Everyone has a favorite product and I have one I use on every single client that sits in my chair. Paul Mitchell makes a product called Super Skinny Serum. I don't use a lot of PM Products but I can't work without this one. It's perfect for your uncontrollable grays. Most shine serums do only that. Add shine. This serum is actually a leave-in conditioner, shine serum, thermal protectant, sun screen, smoother, and if you put it on your hair when it's wet, it will dry 35% faster. It's a phenomenal product. It only takes a tiny bit, can be put on wet or dry and a bottle lasts for months, even when you use it every day. I tell my clients with gray fuzzies to apply half a squirt before they blow dry their hair and half a squirt when they finish blow drying. Good luck.

Try using Hot oils every week My mother uses them and they make her hair lovely and soft
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences ';clean happy'; conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Use a good conditioner every time you wash your hair. Or maybe even use straighteners I do sometimes.
I use Beauty formulas conditioning wax that you leave on for 5 - 10 mins with your hair wrapped in a warm damp towel! I've a lot of grey and it's drier and finer than the darker hair. Avoid blow drying if you can, as this makes grey hair dry out quickly.
If you live near a branch of Morrison's try looking there as it's the only store I've found that sells it. or try going to http://www.drammock-int.co.uk
good luck.
i asked the hairdresser and she said their is nothing you can do.but i tame mine with frizzeze
Mine also. For some reason it seems that grey hair has a different texture than you other hair. As it grows, mine becomes silky and baby fine.
