I am only 20 years old and I found grey hair on the top of my head, is this normal and how can it be reversed?

Its only a few strands but I don't want my entire head to turn grey by the time I reach thirty. Also I have really thick hair so I don;t know if that factors in.I am only 20 years old and I found grey hair on the top of my head, is this normal and how can it be reversed?
it's genetics.

my dad and his sisters all had grey hairs in their teens.

and so do i.I am only 20 years old and I found grey hair on the top of my head, is this normal and how can it be reversed?
hair growth is inherited so ask your father about it ?
STRESS! do you have any in your life any thing! driving,work,friends,in-laws what have you? try to reduce it maybe that will help....
It's normal. I know of an 18 year old with a few strands of gray hair.
Thats totally normal. Remeber that guy from american idol? Taylor hicks? His hair went gray at a young age too.

Maybe go to a salon and have them dye it over?

=]
I have a couple of them since I was 1 , they say don't pull them off as your har v=become all grey. it's genetic you should clor your har a color similar to your natural one. oh my cousin used to clor her head all the time becauze she had grey hair when I figured out she was in university so she was le'ts say 23/ 24

don't worry not a big deal try nice colors
It might just be stress. But guys with prematurely grey hair are hot! I mean not grey but like silvery and white. Hot.

But if you're a girl (I'm guessing you are) you could dye it. No big deal.
yeah my mom and my sister got premature grey hair.

they both were about 18.
One freak hair does not mean you're going grey. If you see more than 5, then you can start to worry.
Hair grows white when the color pigment (melanin) ceases to be produced in the hair follicle and small air spaces take its place. check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.
