Hair doesn't get grey from the beginning to the end immediately. I've pulled some out and looked at them close up. Some are totally grey and some are two toned (and not because of hair dye because I don't use it): The ends nearer the root will be grey while the older parts are still coloured. Very sad.

Why do grey hair gets grey from the beginning to the end immediately?
I have never seen people who have grey hair and the grey is only at the roots..as when you dye your hair and the natural colour shows at the roots. When a hair is grey it is always grey from the beginning to the end! What is happening with the hair? The hair cell gets the colour out? How? Sucks out?
