Why do elderly women always have short, curly, white/grey hair?

I understand the grey, that happens, but does your hair stop growing and become curly as well? Is this a fashion choice or just inevitable aging? Why do elderly women always have short, curly, white/grey hair?
Maybe they're just too lazy to do their Hair. ;pWhy do elderly women always have short, curly, white/grey hair?
We know women are smarter than men? Well, as women age, over-thinking causes overheating of the brain cells. This heating of the brain cells travels through the poorly insulated upper cranial structure causing caloric changes to the makeup of the root structure in hair follicles. The heat causes hair to lose pigment and gain curl at the same time. Hair is brittle and tends to break off shorter than it used to because of brittleness.
fashion choice. most women curl their hair or get perms. it doesnt make sense for your hair to just ';stop growing and become curly';. my grandma curls her hair everynight...i guess its just their style?
